Who are Verified Partners?

A Verified Partner is identified as a confirmed member of the Powerlinx platform.

Why does Powerlinx verify members?

Powerlinx-Verification is used to establish the authenticity of members as companies who are actively seeking partnership opportunities and/or other growth activities.

How do members get verified?

Verification is given to companies who are Premium Members of the Powerlinx platform. Premium Members undergo a comprehensive onboarding, where members of the Powerlinx Customer Success Team speak with speak with new premium members to understand their use case for the platform. Our team of business advisers ensure that Opportunities and Objectives of Premium Members are properly aligned and well-suited for the platform. Additionally, we work with Dun & Bradstreet to validate the basic company data for every premium member. We do this because we aim for the highest level of mutual success for every business partnership created on Powerlinx.

Besides verification, how can I show my account is authentic?

Ensuring all contact information is accurate and linking to your company profile to your company’s official website are the easiest ways to confirm the authenticity of your Powerlinx account. Providing product & service information, and incorporating company brand guidelines (such as uploading your corporate logo and an appropriate header image) will further confirm authenticity.

How to identify an official verified account:

  • The verified badge will appear next to a member’s name on their Company Profile page. It will also appear within Opportunity listings within the Explore section.
  • If the verified badge appears anywhere else on a member’s profile page (such as in the avatar or the background), it is not verified.
  • The verified badge cannot be used unless it is provided by Powerlinx. Accounts using a badge as part of profile pictures, background images or in any way implying false verification may be permanently banned from Powerlinx.

Can an account lose its verified status?

Yes, at the discretion of the Powerlinx team, a member company may lose its verified status. This occurs rarely, on a case-by-case basis. If you believe a company should have its verified status removed, please report the company profile or contact Powerlinx Support.

What ‘verified’ is not

Powerlinx does not perform due diligence on member companies, nor should a ‘verified’ badge be considered a replacement for the research and diligence that should be completed before any business transaction. Powerlinx does not assess companies for fiscal soundness, nor for the “quality” of the company as a partner. Please use your discretion and best judgement before advancing on any discussion with another Powerlinx member.
