At the turn of the new millennium Harold H. Adams (Hal) and Tracy Simons had a vision to create a custom wholesale agency, specializing in niche program business. So in 2000, they set out on a journey, armed with only their expertise in underwriting, their unwavering determination and desire for success, and Custom Assurance Placements Ltd. (CAP) was born. Over the past 14 years they have created a boutique agency, focusing on excellent service, strict underwriting practices and relationships with reputable retail agents and top insurers. They have assisted a select group of knowledgeable retail agents and placed many successful programs. In addition, they have expanded to a general wholesale operation focusing on products provided by superior insurance companies and working with sophisticated retail agents. CAP is tribunalized with Lloyd's of London and has contracts with domestic and international carriers to facilitate these successful placements. Working closely with their retailers, carriers and having a strong sense of responsibility, they have created profitable partnerships, demonstrated by our low loss ratios, and long term relationships.
