Pavegen is a kinetic flooring technology that generate energy from people's footsteps to power pedestrian lighting, advertising and other low energy applications. Every time people step on the flooring tile it generates energy. The Pavegen technology has been installed permanently since December 2010 in a busy school and the next installation will be at Westfield Stratford City, the largest shopping center in Europe. Pavegen has successfully completed its first major funding round and is now backed by Renaissance Capital Partners as the lead investor within the company. The company is rapidly expanding its team and operations over the next 12 months and are looking for new industry and distribution partners.
