ActiveGlass technology has been in active development since it was first invented by Dr Hanoch Shalit in 2010, and is now ready for commercial production. Following the successful private placement of new equity in March 2014, the company has the resources and wherewithal to embark on the next stages of exciting growth. Active Glass Technology PLC (AGT) is a technology focussed enterprise with a primary mandate to develop smart glass products to meet defined market needs, and which can be manufactured and distributed at affordable prices. The company is not engaged in production directly, but works with select manufacturers to make its range of ActiveGlass products under license. AGT intends to maximise the value of the business by concentrating on what it believes it does best: building on its expertise and know-how in the field of printing and glass technology, and continual development of its patents and intellectual property. The company is keen to transfer its expertise to established industry manufacturers, and if appropriate engage with joint ventures to develop particular products for specific markets and applications. In this way, highly effective and technically advanced products can be delivered to market efficiently and cost effectively. The company was incorporated as a public company in England & Wales in February 2014 with registered number 8887145. Its Head Offic e is in Hertfordshire UK, with an R&D facility in Cyprus.
