Description
Technifarm provides free educational and business opportunities for local farm workers and aspiring farmers to grow and sell crops on organic farms. We also engage in direct farming activities. Our mission is to advance economic viability, social equity and ecological land management among limited-resource and aspiring farmers by promoting rapid, sustainable agricultural growth based on smallholder farmers. Eighty percent of rural dwellers in Africa are farmers. Imagine what will happen when these farmers are empowered with modern agricultural solutions and practices. Technifarm works to create opportunities for family farms while providing education and demonstrations on conservation, habitat restoration, direct marketing and whole farm planning which works for a food secure and prosperous Africa.
